Workshop 9 at the RPCU Conference. Joint conference between the Users’ Committee and the quality, safety and risk management department: Marie-Suzanne Lavallée, MAP, CHE, Director of Quality, safety and risk management, CHU Sainte-Justine, and Dieudonné Soubeiga, Ph.D., Patient experience assessment advisor, CHU Sainte-Justine.

The first part of the workshop focused on the concept of the patient experience and on the winning conditions needed for a rewarding partnership between the Users’ Committee and the Quality, safety and risk management department.
The second, practical part of the workshop examined the patient-centred approach, which is used at the CHU Sainte-Justine, where the Users’ Committee and the Quality department work together to define and prioritize assessment projects.
Ms. Rainville had a professional scheduling conflict and was unable to attend the RPCU conference. For this reason, a video on the topic was prerecorded.
