A member of the Users’ Committee since September 2013, I’m a comedian and a mother of a child who’s been hospitalized at CHU Sainte-Justine and is now awaiting surgery. My experience with my son is what inspired me to get involved in improving the services offered at CHU Sainte-Justine.
While I’ve only been a member for a short time, I’m proud of the Users’ Committee, and I’m honoured to be consulted on decisions and projects aimed at improving the quality of care provided to children and their families.
My job as a therapeutic clown puts me in direct contact with the users, and I’m very comfortable in a hospital setting. Of all the remedies, laughter is the one that eases pain the most, in both children and parents, and that’s precious to me.
