A Committee for you and your child
The main objective of the CHU Sainte-Justine Users’ Committee is to represent the children and mothers who receive care at Hôpital Sainte-Justine and the Centre de Réadaptation Marie Enfant, as well as their families. In other words, we are a guardian angel for you and your child.
The Users’ Committee is comprised of at least five volunteer members elected by the institution’s users and of a representative designated by and from each of the residents’ committees established. The only restriction on a member’s candidacy is that they not be employed by the institution or by a centre operated by the institution.
The current Users’ Committee is comprised of ten highly active members who are all either former users or parents of current or former users. In addition to these members, many health professionals attend the Committee’s monthly meetings in order to contribute their expertise and share relevant information about their roles at the institution.
