  1. What is the role of the Users’ Committee?
    The role of the CHU Sainte-Justine Users’ Committee is to represent the users of Hôpital Sainte Justine and the Centre de Réadaptation Marie Enfant, as well as their families, to the institution.
  2. Can I submit a complaint directly to the Users’ Committee?
    You cannot submit a complaint directly to the Users’ Committee; all complaints must be directed to the local service quality and complaints commissioner. However, if you have questions about your situation, the Users’ Committee can guide you as to what steps to take.
  3. How do I submit a complaint?
    To submit a complaint against the institution, you must contact the local service quality and complaints commissioner. See the Complaints page for more information.
  4. What is the difference between the local service quality and complaints commissioner and the Users’ Committee?
    The local service quality and complaints commissioner is appointed by the institution pursuant to the ARHSSSS to receive complaints from users, whereas the Committee’s role is to improve services for users and inform users about their rights.
  5. How can I become a Committee member?
    The Committee is always looking for new members who feel strongly about improving services for users. If you are a current user, or if you are a former user or a parent of a former user, and you are interested in joining the team, fill out the form on the Become a member page..
  6. How could I contribute to the Committee?
    The Committee receives numerous requests for consultations from the various departments at the CHU Sainte-Justine; the involvement of new members ensures that users are being heard during discussions about the institution’s various projects.
